Helicopter Crash – Huge Settlement Reached
The manufacturer of a rotary blade for a helicopter settled a lawsuit for $5.6 million in regards to a crash of a helicopter killing a flight nurse. Sandra Peterson and two other individuals were killed in the accident when the rotary blade broke apart. The crash occurred near Indianapolis in 2008. The settlement proceeds went into a trust fund for the benefit of the nurse’s young children.
